Tata Motors is poised to make an impact in the compact SUV market with the Curvv SUV, having already made a name for itself with the Nexon and Punch sub-4-meter SUVs. The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun are some of the strongest competitors in this market. Later this year, the Tata Curvv is anticipated to be released. Tata has already made several pictures of the production-ready vehicle public.

The production-ready Curvv was unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 in a vivid orange hue. It goes well with the SUV’s muscular styling. The front fascia of Curvv is designed in a similar manner to the facelifted Nexon, Harrier, and Safari models.
The full-width LED light bar, headlight and fog lamp housings, grille, and surface detailing are all suggestive of Harrier’s designs. Additional elements that closely resemble those of the Nexon are the bottom bumper portion and sequential turn signals.

The dual-tone machined alloy wheels with a pincer-like design further improve the SUV’s aesthetic appeal. These are probably high-end units that may be available with Curvv’s most expensive trims.

Can Curvv take on Seltos and Creta?
Curvv has an elegant look and will benefit from being the first coupe in its class. In particular, for people who favor this body type. Curvv might have had a whole new front fascia, but Tata seems to have decided to stick with the current style. Among the USPs that may help in achieving a distinct separation versus top competitors like Creta and Seltos are the side and rear profiles.
Curvv’s equipment list will also impact consumer choices. Tata has been providing an extensive selection of high-end and advanced features, as evidenced by the latest Nexon, Harrier, and Safari models. Curvv might benefit from a few more features to improve its chances. Two engine options-a 1.5-liter diesel and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol-will be borrowed from Nexon. Curvv will be available in electric format as well.
