Hyundai Motor India is preparing to unveil the much-anticipated Creta facelift in India, and tomorrow is the price announcement.
Reservations for the modified SUV were already open for a small Rs 25,000.
The company has been gradually revealing the information and raising the bar on the Creta makeover for some time before making it official last week. In comparison to its predecessor, the most recent version of the SUV has a number of cosmetic changes and the addition of multiple new features, including as an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package. Seven varieties of the new model will be offered: S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, E, EX, S, and SX(O).
Hyundai Creta Reveal: Style
A bold and spacious three-row grille is part of the completely updated front fascia of the 2024 Creta. The front of the SUV is now more firmly positioned and construct than it was on the previous model. Updated projector LED headlights, redesigned bumper, vertically stacked fog lamps, and H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) indicative of the new Santa Fe on the global market are some of the key changes.
Going to the back, the future model gets an integrated LED tail light system along with a new bumper, a spoiler located on the roof, and a modified tailgate to make room for these upgrades.
The SUV’s side profile hasn’t changed much, but new alloy wheels have been added. Depending on the specification, these wheels should be available in 17- or 18-inch sizes.
Hyundai Creta Redesign: Interiors and Features
According to the leaked photos, the new Creta’s interior has undergone a significant update, adding two 10.25-inch screens. Furthermore, fresh textures and materials are used in the upholstery, and new design elements are incorporated into the dashboard.
A panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite with 19 functions are among the additional features.
Engine Redesign for the Hyundai Creta
The 2024 Creta will provide a selection of three engine options. The 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines from the outgoing generation will still be available. A brand-new 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine is also scheduled to make its debut; it comes from the most recent Verna generation.
The new Creta offers a variety of transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), and a 6-speed automatic.
Expected Cost of the Hyundai Creta Facelift
Hyundai may release the updated Creta for sale for between Rs. 11 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model and Rs. 18 lakh (ex-showroom) for the highest trim level.
