When WhatsApp Channels were made available to all users lately, there was a great deal of curiosity in them. To ensure that it becomes far more helpful to users, WhatsApp is looking to add more features to the app. The app has constantly adding new features to enhance the user experience and fully utilize its powers ever since Channels was released. There have been rumors that the app is exploring new features, such sharing polls and bringing back the Muted updates. See what the next update to WhatsApp Channels might bring.

Channels Polls on WhatsApp Feature

Two significant app features that could launch in the upcoming months have been made public by WABetaInfo. First rumored feature of WhatsApp is that, for users who aren’t following any channels, the muted updates part of the Updates page is being reintroduced. Organizing the updates tab is the goal of this new feature. Currently under beta testing, you will be able to see the feature again on the main Updates tab once it is released.

Users will no longer have to go through the drawn-out procedure and will be able to receive their mute status updates faster thanks to the modification. The sharing of polls on WhatsApp Channels is the next big feature. With polls, users will be able to encourage more engaging conversations among their followers. Furthermore, the poll function protects the user’s privacy by not revealing their number to the channel administrator or other followers. Channel owners will be able to get feedback and engage with their audience more frequently by sharing polls. According to WABetaInfo, the polls feature is currently being developed and will soon be made available to users in next updates. It appears that WhatsApp has been working to enhance Channels’ features with polls in order to make them more helpful, engaging, and user-friendly.

We will now have to wait for the official start to see how well these new features perform.

In addition to this, stickers might be added to the WhatsApp Channel to enhance its entertainment value.
