In a statement, Mahesh Babu’s family confirmed that Indira Devi’s burial would be held at Maha Prasthanam. Fans may pay their final respects by visiting her mortal remains at Padmalaya Studios.

Mahesh last left a message for his mother on Instagram in May of this year. He had posted images of Indira, his wife Namrata Shirodkar, and their kids, Gautham and Sitara Ghattamaneni. He had written, “To my Amma. To the mother of my lifelines. A very happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers in the globe! Your love can never be replaced. Always be respectful!”
Mahesh Babu uploaded a photo of himself holding Indira’s hand on Mother’s Day the previous year. He had wrote, “Happy birthday, Amma I am thankful for you every day.”
