The present Doodle recognizes Hungarian National Day, otherwise called Revolution Day. On this day in 1848, the writer of the upheaval, Sandor Petőfi and his kindred loyalists tended to the country from the steps of the Hungarian National Museum, discussing the Nemzeti dal (National Song). They announced a rundown of requests for popularity based freedoms, presently known as the 12 Points of the Pest Revolution – an archive broadly considered among the country’s most significant messages.
The renowned 12 Points required the foundation of a Hungarian government and a finish to all control. By the evening, thousands had participated in the reason and started the Hungarian Revolution, which later got the country’s autonomy.
