History of fashion in the world

Although over time, the concept of fashion has expanded to other items such as jewelry, bags, shoes, etc., the first origin of fashion design dates back to 1826. Charles Frederick Worth is believed to have been the world’s first fashion designer, working from 1826 to 1895. In fact, Charles was one of the first people to start creating “fashion houses” and telling his customers what kind of clothes were right for them.

At this time, a number of design houses began hiring artists to create clothing patterns. Patterns were presented to customers, and according to the customer’s interest, orders were sewn under. At this point, the tradition of presenting patterns to customers and sewing them began, instead of the previous system in which complete garments were sewn or used. Took. At the beginning of the twentieth century, the first new fashion developments took place in Paris and from there spread to other parts of the world. New clothing designs were born in Paris before they spread to other parts of the world. In other words, Paris became known as the “Capital of Fashion”. Fashion in this period was introduced as “Haute Couture” and was designed exclusively for special people.

In the middle of the twentieth century, the clothes of the fashion industry became mass-produced. Production increased and people had more choices to choose from. In the late 20th century, fashion awareness increased among the people and instead of trusting the common trends in the market, they chose clothes based on their comfort and style.
