Shakespeare once wrote, “Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them.” Entrepreneur Michael Barayev didn’t just achieve greatness, he overcame the most challenging circumstances to do so.

Arriving in Queens, New York as a six-month-old child of USSR immigrants, the odds were always stacked against Barayev. Things turned from bad to worse after he was kicked out of multiple schools and placed in foster care due to domestic violence issues in the home.

Labeled as a lost cause by the traditional system, Barayev called upon his inner resources to prove everyone wrong and build a better life for himself. It paid off. Barayev has since built a sales and marketing company that has generated tens of millions of dollars helping Fortune 100 companies thrive with his skills and expertise.

“I grew up on food stamps and was surrounded by domestic violence,” explained Barayev, “So I was used to being the outsider and ridiculed. I think the natural resilience I developed throughout that experience helped fortify the sort of mindset you need to succeed in the business world. My early circumstances taught me that every perceivably negative situation we go through in life can teach us something about ourselves. This can turn a challenging experience into one of your life’s greatest opportunities.”

After a series of jobs that provided him a wealth of experience in sales, he founded Barayev Marketing in 2016. Over the span of three years, he trained and built a salesforce of over 150 door to door sales agents. With Barayev at the helm, the company quickly generated millions in revenue.

With an instinctive understanding that sales are the keystone to any business, and the expertise to make that a reality, Barayev has since set up Barayev Bootcamp. The popular Bootcamp offers world class one on one coaching and mentorship dedicated to entrepreneurs, business owners, and salespeople in order to help them increase their sales, build teams, and develop scalable systems.

“I believe making a positive impact in other peoples’ lives is one of the most rewarding things you can do with your life, and that’s why I developed Barayev Bootcamp,” explained Barayev. “People often make the mistake of thinking that the primary reason for starting a business is simply to make money. It’s not! It’s about solving a problem, identifying a need, and making a positive impact on your customers. Put people first, and the money will come.”

With an impressive client portfolio of numerous Fortune 100 Companies, it’s safe to say the Bootcamp is backed by a track record of success in both business and sales.

Barayev added, “If life and business have taught me anything, it’s that there’s no problem or circumstance that can’t be overcome if you’re patient and focused enough. As Michael Jordan once said, ‘Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through, or work around it.’”
